Fourth Grade is a big transition year before the students move into the middle school building. Specific questions should be directed to Mrs. Estes, the classroom teacher.

Homework:
Student need to copy their homework from the board into their assignment books each day. Reading Logs are sent home on Fridays or the last school day of the week and returned the following Friday or last school day of the week. Students should try to read at least 125 minutes per week. Book Reports are required once per month and due on the last school day of each month. Spelling Packets are sent home the first day (usually Monday) of the week and returned on the last school day of the week. Spelling Tests will be given on Fridays (or Thursdays if there is no school on Friday). No test will be given if we are only in school three days of the week. Math homework is written on the board daily (Monday-Thursday) and should be returned the following school day.

Library:
Fourth grade will check out books from the Library on Fridays.

Computer/Technology:
Fourth grade will be working in the Computer Lab on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Physical Education:
Fourth grade goes to PE on Mondays and Thursdays.

Music:
Fourth grade goes to music on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Choir meets on Mondays.

Spanish:
Fourth grade will learn Spanish on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Birthdays:
Students may bring store bought items for birthday treats. Students will usually pass them out at the end of the school day. There are 26 students in the class.
